HND Beauty Therapist & Salon Owner
Meet Emma, owner of Cadzow Beauty Co.
With 16 years of beauty industry expertise, I’m your go-to for glowing skin, flawless brows, lifted lashes, and that perfect sun-kissed tan. A proud cat and dog mum, fueled by Scorpio energy and ADHD creativity, I bring passion, precision, and a dash of laughter to every appointment. My mission? Helping you feel radiant, confident, and unapologetically YOU!
I started studying my HND at Coatbridge College after high school, after a family friend had introduced me to the industry. During my studies I worked in a local salon then once I was fully qualified, I worked in various salons and spas all over Scotland to gain further knowledge and expertise in the industry.
I decided to go solo in February 2015, and although running your own small business is a tough gig, I’ve never looked back. I absolutely LOVE my job and all my wonderful clients who make it all possible!
In the salon we also have 3 other amazing girls to help you with all things nails, waxing, massage, lashes & permanent jewellery! Please follow @bycoralxox, @bykatarzyna, @blackoutandbelladonna & @belladonnabonds
Whether you are here for a little self-care, a full blown glow up, or just an excuse to relax and escape family or working life, I’m here to make sure you leave feeling amazing. Book your appointment, grab a coffee and let’s get you feeling your best!

My skin story
As a teen my skin was pretty decent, the odd breakout at the time of the month but nothing major. Then when I started college I was breaking out more often but again nothing you’d class as acne (and that was mainly because I was getting facials twice a week with cheap rubbish for training). Then shortly after being put on the mini pill, I started to develop bumps under the skin on my forehead. This slowly lead to breakouts all over my face because I didn’t understand what was happening inside my body and completely destroyed my skin barrier with over exfoliation. I sought help from a very well known high street salon and they ‘treated’ my skin with harsh chemical peels it did not need and at no point did anyone discuss my gut health or hormones with me. I went to the GP and was given long term anti-biotics that not only didn’t particularly help, they caused more harm than good as they only covered up and kept the symptoms of what was really happening at bay without actually treating the problem to stop the breakouts from actually happening. Your body is always in communication with you, if it shows you something you should listen.
So for years on and off my skin would erupt, get better, erupt again. Finally after a new eruption - and the worst one I’d had burst across my face in November 2021, I decided this would be the last time I felt that low about myself. Someone who has never experienced inflamed skin, for any reason, might not realise just how debilitating it is. Feeling helpless, dirty, ugly. My self esteem was at an all time low. I’d trained with Image Skincare online during lockdown and was focusing on the setting up / running of a salon post Covid so it hadn’t been a priority as much for me but my first in person training week changed all that. I was taught much more about the functionality of the skin and HOW skincare products actually work and what the ingredients are actually doing. The pictures you see below range from Feb 2022-Jan 2024, which proves things CAN improve but it takes time, consistency & patience are key. I’d had my eye on SQT Biomicroneedling for quite some time by this point so in February 2024 I did my training and performed a course of these treatments on myself. The acne was gone, I’d started taking regular supplements of vitamins & probiotics to help with my gut health but I still had a lot of scarring and post inflammatory erythema and pigmentation (from a short dabble with sunbeds - this is why I can help you, I’ve actually been there, done that.)
It’s not just acne I can treat though - we can talk about your skin type, skin conditions, how to just ‘pamper’ yourself a little or actively change / improve any area of your skin your struggling with including; hydration, pigmentation, ageing, dullness, rosacea, oily or even seasonal/hormonal changes.
Ever since, I have been on a mission to learn as much as humanly possible about the skin but also the mind > body connection. I want help others who find themselves in the same situation I was in but also to broaden the knowledge surrounding skin and general health (within my qualified field). I have been doing talks with pre/teens in schools, educating them on the layer of the skin, importance of SPF & how some products just shouldn’t be used by a kid their age. Whilst your in my salon I will be talking to you all the time to learn about your lifestyle and teaching you the things I know that can help you, I’m not a gatekeeper of knowledge in anyway. I love to share the info I have!
Also, and now I’m not a nutritionist, but with some research, learning and the wonder of google its not too difficult to find out what could be harmful, and what foods and ingredients are anti-inflammatory. The connection with your gut health to many other health concerns is eye opening but it goes hand in hand with your skin health. If nothing is working topically, we must look deeper inside. Step in RUCI - the vitamin supplements brand I have chosen to have in salon to promote skin health alongside my in clinic and home care brands - Image, SQT & NC Skin. (Find out more about each brand I’ve chosen to work with via the links below.)
If any of this resonates with you in anyway, you already know about the skincare brands I use or you’ve seen the before & after photos on my Instagram please get in touch. I have a contact page on this website for you to fill out your details or feel free to book in for a consultation and we can get your own skincare journey started.
